Korg has released a small keyboard that is smaller than the size of a magazine. It has 25 keys. Pictured here alongside the other components (a controller pad and knob station) - it is clearly the small transport-able keyboard people have been waiting for. It's 25-keys have velocity and there are a few buttons on the left that somewhat mimic modulation/pitch wheels. While they material seems like a laptop keyboard button, people claim it holds up pretty well and looks cheaper than it actually is. At a price of around $45 bucks, it's not a bad deal; but at $170 for the keyboard and the two other components (the knob and fader stations) it is a downright steal for anyone looking to break into computer music. it comes with some limited software to get your feet wet, but with some imagination and geek skills you can have these MIDI controllers setting off crazy beats and sounds. have a glance at some youtube videos of people using the Korg NanoKey.
